Website Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions

Our rules are very easy: We will not share your information with any third parties except where absolutely necessary as part of arranging your property purchase or your holiday booking, and we will not make any unsolicited communication with you by email, phone or post.

1. Information Collection & Use

1.1 Bookings
If you book a visit to some properties in Spain with us, we require certain personal details from you on our booking forms. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and address). We also require information about your party (names and ages of any under 18s), which we use to ensure the accomodations and hire car we have chosen is suitable for you and your party.

1.2 Contact
If you send us a message using our Contact form, your contact details will only be used in relation to your query. If you ask for information regards to holiday services we will only use the information you provide to share with the third parties related to the service.

1.3 Cookies
A session cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes which expires when you close you browser. We use session cookies on this site to store the searches you make on our site, to prevent you from having to enter the same search / holiday details more than once.

1.4 Log Files
As is true of most Websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system and date/time stamp. We also use a third-party tracking service, Google Analytics, that uses cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site in the aggregate.

We use this information to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

1.5 Profile
We store information that we collect through cookies, log files and Google Analytics, to create a “profile” of your preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information, together with your communication history with us, to the information in the profile, in order to improve the content of the site for you and help you find your property in Spain.

We do not share share your profile with other third parties.

2. Communications from Hideaways

2.1 Email and Telephone
Hideaways will only contact you by email or telephone in relation to your booking or buying enquiries.

2.2 Post
If you make a booking, maybe we will send you a printed confirmation of you booking by post if you don't have a email account unless it is a late booking.

2.3 Security
When you enter any personal information on any of our booking, payment, contact or brochure request forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
